Quick Chat: Spatial Reasoning & STEM Lesson Study

Elementary teachers, come to this series of professional learning sessions to learn tasks and teaching strategies for encouraging the development of your students' spatial reasoning. Spatial reasoning is a strong predictor of how well children will do in STEM disciplines, both academically and professionally. Spatial reasoning is malleable, yet it is rarely taught explicitly. We will share our research, engage in "hard-fun" tasks, and engage in discussions of how to work the tasks to your classroom.
